Is your profession enough?

It is not enough to just believe (Titus 1:16; James 2:19-20; Matthew 21:28-30), for that is the same as just hearing and not doing (Luke 6:46-49). If you were dead in your sins (Ephesians 2:1), and are now made alive by the Holy Spirit (Colossians 2:13), your life Will change (2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 6:12-16). Being saved by grace, does not mean that you must do nothing (Ephesians 2:10), for grace is the desire and power to do the will of God (1 Corinthians 15:10; 1 Thessalonians 1:3), not just a cover up of your sins (Titus 2:11-13; 2 Corinthians 12:9).

For the will of God is not only to forgive you of sin, but to save you from this present evil world (Galatians 1:4; Titus 2:14-15; 1 Peter 2:9).

If you love the system and ways of this world, you do not love God (1 John 2:15-17; James 4:4; Matthew 6:24) If you can watch the movies and entertainments of this world (Psalm 101:3), be obsessed with sports, page through most magazines and nod your head to the music of the world, and enjoy these things without feeling any disgust or grief (2 Peter 2:7-11). Read what I am saying friend (Proverbs 27:5-6), “You are not born again” (John 3:3), your heart has not been renewed (Matthew 5:8; Romans 12:2; 1 Peter 1:22; Ephesians 5:26-27) and you are on your way to Hell (Proverbs 16:25).

You don’t believe me? What about this, If you spend more time fishing and playing crossword puzzles etc, than in the Bible and prayer, this is an indication that you are not saved. If you love your family more than God. If you care More about the earthly success and health of your children or others, than their souls and the Kingdom of God, you lack a vision of who God really is, and you are in danger of the fires of Hell. (2 Timothy 2:4; 2 Timothy 2:15; Matthew 25:30; Luke 21:34-36; Matthew 10:37; Philippians 3:19-20; Colossians 3:1-4)

God is Love(1 John 4:8; 1 John 5:3; Romans 5:8), but He is also a Consuming Fire (Hebrews 12:29). yet none of these can be properly understood unless seen against the backdrop of His Holiness. (Isaiah 6:3; Hebrews 12:14)
